Ryoji Ikeda
Japanese electronic composer and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda (b. 1966, Gifu, Japan) focuses on the essential characteristics of sound and visuals by means of mathematical precision and mathematical aesthetics. He elaborately orchestrates sound, visuals, materials, physical phenomena and mathematical notions into immersive live performances and installations. Ikeda lives and works in Paris.
