Sergei Isaenko exhibition: "Echoes of the Collapse"

"Echoes of the Collapse," a thesis exhibition by M.F.A. photography student Sergei Isaenko, reflects an ongoing collaboration between the artist and his family, and was created as a way to come to terms with as well as commemorate the reasons for their immigration to the U.S. Through the use of visual metaphors, this series demonstrates the reality of their displacement and offers evidence of the internal psychological reckoning the artist relates to tragic characters of classic Russian literature.
