Acquired by SCAD in 1989 and renovated in 1996, the university's Pei Ling Chan Gallery was initially built as the Savannah Exchange Bank in 1928. Revitalized through a gift from the Pei Ling Chan Charitable Trust, this beautiful and unique location serves primarily as a gallery showcasing work in a variety of mediums by SCAD students and acclaimed international artists. The annexed Afifi Amphitheater and Garden for the Arts hosts lectures and performances.
