Ezra Masch


Ezra Masch (b. 1982; lives and works in Austin, Texas) is an interdisciplinary artist and musician who creates immersive multimedia installations, exploring the potential of light and sound at the intersection of synesthesia, architecture, technology, and experimental film. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at the Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota, Fla.; the Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh, Penn.; the Philadelphia Art Museum; Icebox Project Space, Philadelphia; MASS Gallery, Austin; Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Philadelphia and New York; WhiteBox, New York; Visual Arts Center, Austin; and Galleria L’Acquario, Rome. He received a B.F.A. in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2004 and an M.F.A. in studio art from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. Masch also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
