Utkarsh Seth

In a career spanning more than 15 years in the user experience (UX) industry, Utkarsh Seth has built and scaled UX teams that make demonstrable impacts on their products. Seth is currently a senior staff UX manager at Google, where his strategic vision, management, mentorship, and research leadership guide product development across the company's many divisions. Prior to Google, he held UX research-based roles with Nordstrom and Microsoft as well as positions in interface design at Lenovo and Tata Consultancy Services, giving him broad experience across enterprise, retail, and technology sectors. Dedicated to supporting the next generation of UX professionals, Seth has long mentored students and contributed to shaping SCAD's pioneering user experience research (UXR) degree program. He is also the author of Applied UX Research: Bridging the Gap Between Academia & Industry for Early Career Professionals, a guide offering practical advice and insights on the field as students move from academia to professional practice.
