Nick Dine
Nick Dine is a design educator and industry innovator with more than 30 years of experience in product design, design management, and creative direction. As a professor with SCAD's innovation design studio SCADpro, he leads interdisciplinary student groups in collaborations with major brands like Google, Adobe, The Mayo Clinic, and Target. His recent teaching has focused on preparing designers for an AI-integrated future, including the launch of Lab560, the university's first generative AI workshop series. Before entering academia, Dine built an extensive industry career that included serving as design director of product at Dwell, leading design teams in New York, and running his own studio with clients ranging from Supreme to Thomson Hotels and Design Within Reach. As owner and director of Nick Dine Design, he has collaborated with global brands on product design, strategic design, digital platforms, and service blueprints.
