Mia Hebib

Metals and jewelry, Jewelry

B.F.A., metals and jewelry, 2001

Mia Hebib's New York-based jewelry studio, Oblik Atelier, merges fashion and fine art to create wearable sculptures. Born in Bosnia and raised in Croatia, Hebib's career began in New York City. She held design positions at Liz Claiborne, Henri Bendel and BCBGeneration before consulting with legendary jewelry artist Robert Lee Morris on the creation of her own handcrafted jewelry line. Hebib's collections include rings, necklaces and earrings that are bold, yet elegant, and her silhouettes are defined by their sinuous lines and playful use of shape and space.
