Kate Aronowitz
Kate Aronowitz (B.A., graphic design, 1997) has shaped the design discipline at some of Silicon Valley's most influential companies, building teams and leadership structures that have redefined how design operates at scale. She leads Google Ventures' (GV) operations team, coaching portfolio companies on cross-functional design processes, organizational scale, product development, and management strategy. Across her career, Aronowitz has built world-class design organizations. She began in user experience at eBay before moving to LinkedIn, where she founded the company's first user research team. As Facebook's first design executive, she grew the design organization from 20 to 200, establishing multidisciplinary teams in front-end engineering, user research, content strategy, and communication design. Beyond her leadership in the tech industry, Aronowitz has served as an adviser to Fortune's Brainstorm Design conference and as a juror for the National Design Awards. Her influence has been recognized through honors such as Fast Company's Most Influential Designers and Ad Age's Most Creative People.
