Eleanor Turner
For more than a decade, Eleanor Turner (B.F.A., fashion, 2008) designed for iconic American brands including J.Crew, Tommy Hilfiger and Tory Burch. In 2015, she cofounded Argent, a women's apparel company aimed at empowering working women through stylish and functional clothing. During her tenure as chief creative officer of Argent, Turner innovated various styles of workwear, including the classic blazer, with four patents pending. She has dressed trailblazing women such as Hillary Clinton, Brooklyn Decker, Kamala Harris, Gloria Steinem, Emily Weiss and many others, and has been featured in Forbes, Glamour, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, WWD and Vogue. Launching her next project in fall 2019, Turner is set to resurrect a brand that was once led by her great-grandfather.
