Carol Hamilton

Carol Hamilton is group president of L'Oréal Luxe USA and one of the most respected and successful executives of the global beauty industry. During her 32-year career at L'Oréal USA, she has been integral to the development of brands worldwide and building both the L'Oréal Paris and L'Oréal Luxe portfolio business in the U.S. Currently, Hamilton is responsible for the global development of iconic American beauty brands such as Kiehl's, Urban Decay, and most recently, It Cosmetics. She is also responsible for the strategic evolution of the Luxe portfolio and the acquisition of American brands. Prior to this assignment, Hamilton ran the U.S Luxe business, successfully doubling the business in size, overseeing all Luxe brands including Lancôme, Yves St. Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Viktor&Rolf, Kiehl's Since 1851 and Ralph Lauren. Beyond her traditional responsibilities, Hamilton's career has been marked by a fierce determination to give back with long-standing commitments to multiple philanthropic and women’s empowerment initiatives.

A graduate of Vassar College, Hamilton has been named one of "Advertising Age's 50 Most Powerful People in Marketing" and one of "Beauty’s 50 Most Powerful Women" by Women’s Wear Daily. She serves on several boards for select humanitarian causes and lives in New York City and Litchfield, Connecticut, with her husband Rodney and two cherished Maine coon cats.
