Online payments

  • MySCAD online secure payment in U.S. dollars by electronic check or credit or debit card. There is no fee for electronic checks. A convenience fee of 3% (4.25% for international transactions) or US$3, whichever is greater, is applied to credit and debit card transactions. To submit payments online, log in to your MySCAD student account and complete the following steps:

    1. Select the personal info page.
    2. Locate the student account channel.
    3. Click the "Your student account" link.

Electronic check notes:

  • Only checks from a U.S. domestic bank (including most credit unions) may be used. Be sure to enter the accurate routing/transit and account numbers from your check. If you enter incorrect values, or if you attempt to use a check that is not from a regular U.S. domestic bank checking account, your electronic check will be returned.
  • Do not use any check marked "Do Not Use for ACH." You cannot enter your debit or credit card number as an electronic check.
  • If you are unsure whether your check can be used or do not know the routing/transit and account numbers, call your bank. Ask if your account can be used for ACH, and verify the correct numbers to enter.

After confirming the information is correct, submit your payment.

International payment options

  • SCAD partners with multiple companies for payment from your home country, often in your home currency. Multiple payment methods are available for most countries, including international credit cards, e-wallets, and bank transfers. Each service promises competitive exchange rates and typically offers a price match program if your bank offers a lower cost.

To learn more about these options and to make a payment, visit scad.selectyourfx.com.

Note: Although SCAD accepts traditional wires in U.S. dollars, we encourage you to use one of the streamlined providers for a better payment experience. Using one of our payment partners will provide faster processing to your SCAD student account, often save on the currency exchange rates and bank fees, and allow you to track your payment during the transfer process.

Wire payments

  • You may directly transfer funds in U.S. dollars to SCAD's bank by wire transfer. The originating bank must indicate the student's name and SCAD ID number on the transfer; the originating party is responsible for all transfer fees. Allow five to seven business days for SCAD to receive notice of the transfer.
