Fashion writing combines an understanding of the principles and practice of journalism with an ability to identify trends and newsmakers in the fashion industry. Students study the basics of good journalistic writing through readings and exercises, and learn how to look at and think about fashion from the perspective of a writer. The course culminates in each student producing a publication-worthy, fashion-themed story. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 123 or ENGL 193. Attributes: General Education
