Maura Ambrose is 2013 Emerging Alumna

Maura Ambrose (B.F.A., fibers, 2006) was named 2013 Emerging Alumna. Ambrose is the owner of Folk Fibers based in Austin, Texas. Ambrose started her business hand-dyeing fabrics to make one-of-a-kind, hand-stitched quilts. She has received several commissions, including Levi's and Terrain. She has been featured on Design*Sponge, Refueled and other online publications.
