SCAD earns three The Rookies' Global School Rankings distinctions

The Rookies' Global School Rankings are the ultimate benchmark for excellence in creative media education worldwide, rooted in the assessment of student work submissions in the thousands — which have distinguished SCAD as the top creative school in the U.S. for the second consecutive year.

For the first time, SCAD has been named the best school in the U.S. for immersive media — a recognition determined by outstanding dedication to teaching the art of game development for augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR) platforms.

The product design category focuses on the innovative concepts, renderings, and real-world prototypes submitted by students across the globe. With SCAD ranked No. 1 for the third year in a row, this category highlights SCAD as the premier university for aspiring industrial designers.

SCAD programs earned three top rankings:

  • No. 1 Creative School in the U.S.
  • No. 1 Best Product Design School in the World (for three consecutive years)
  • Production Excellence: No. 1 Best Immersive Media School in the U.S.
