Artist talk: 'A Road Trip with Wendy White'
Join SCAD alumna and deFINE ART 2018 exhibiting artist Wendy White (B.F.A., fibers, 1993) for a discussion about her exhibition, "Loves," on view Feb. 20–June 8, 2018, in Gallery 1600. Learn how White’s own cross-country travels in an RV inspired many of the themes on display in "Loves," such as the proliferation of branding and sponsorship and recent executive orders that have threatened our national parks system. White discusses her exhibition with Alexandra Sachs, executive director of SCAD FASH: Museum of Fashion + Film and Atlanta exhibitions.
This exhibition is part of SCAD deFINE ART 2018, held Feb. 20-23 at university locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, and Hong Kong. SCAD deFINE ART is an annual program of exhibitions, lectures, performances and public events that highlights emerging and established artists and visionaries.
