Après SCAD 2017 offers inspired professional development experience

Connect with fellow creatives at Après SCAD 2017, a five-day program created for SCAD alumni.

Network, attend presentations and engage in one-on-one dialogues with leading industry professionals Jamie Beck and Genevieve Gorder. You'll also enjoy 24-hour access to the elegantly restored Maison Basse, known for the purity and magic of its light, which makes this historic space in the south of France one of a kind.

Beck, a photographer and social media influencer, co-created the cinemagraph, a new form of digital photography, with Kevin Burg. Google, Donna Karan, Tiffany & Co. and MTV are among Beck and Burg's many clients.

Gorder, one of the original designers on the TLC series "Trading Spaces" and host of multiple HGTV shows, is an author, an interior designer, the founder and director of the Genevieve Gorder brand and a global ambassador for human rights.

Après SCAD 2017 is open to SCAD alumni, and space is limited.

The program fee of $1,200 is due at registration and includes the following:

  • Two days of workshops, lectures and discussions with guest presenters
  • Excursions to markets and other local attractions
  • Shared lodging for four nights; single rooms not available
  • All meals except lunch on market day
