Gabriela Iancu exhibition: 'Life from Light'
With a deep interest in natural history, M.F.A. photography candidate Gabriela Iancu uses photography to question the fragility of image through the notion of time and identity. “Life from Light” examines structural patterns inherent in plant and animal life and the connection that exists between humans and nature. Photographs and an experimental video projection provide a contemporary window into the world of our ancestors.
Reception: Thursday, May 21, 6-8 p.m.
Gallery hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
