Submit your best work for 2014 Foundations Honors Show
Showcase your drawing and design skills and illustrate how they have prepared you for academic and artistic success.
Eligibility: All students enrolled in a foundations class during the 2013-14 academic year may enter work produced in any SCAD foundations studies class.
Requirements: Digital images of the work must be submitted in a Microsoft PowerPoint application. Images should be saved at 72 DPI (high resolution, no less than 300 PPI in any direction).

Range of media: Submit one to four images of any type of project including all forms of drawing, complete or working drawings, sketches and design projects in all forms and sizes, including 3-D design projects in any type of medium or format.
Submission: Submit images of your work in a PowerPoint format.
- Subject line of your email should read: "2014 FHS"
- The email content should include your name, SCAD email and phone number, and your major or intended major
Image requirements: Each PowerPoint image slide should include:
- Name of student
- Contact information
- Title of work
- Medium(s) used
- Physical dimensions
- Class in which it was produced
Dates:
- Digital submissions due by Friday, April 11
- Notifications of acceptance delivered by Monday, April 14
- Exhibition: Wallin Hall, May 2-16
- Reception and awards presentation: Wallin Hall, Friday, May 16, 3-4:30 p.m.
- Show will be removed on Saturday, May 17
- Pick up work at Wallin Hall, May 26-30
Presentation: Two-dimensional work must be matted and shrink-wrapped. Three-dimensional work should be mounted or otherwise capable of standing or being hung. We reserve the right to reject work that is poorly prepared or otherwise lacking in craftsmanship.
Accepted works: must be delivered to Wallin Hall, Friday, April 25, noon-4 p.m.

- Black-and-white drawing: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
- Color drawing: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
- Process drawing: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
- 3-D design: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
- 2-D design: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
- Color theory: first place, $200; second place, $150; third place, $100
