Centrally located between classrooms and residence dining halls at 120 Montgomery St., the Student Center provides students with a safe place to socialize in a healthy and fun environment.
The first floor houses the office of
student involvement, Apple computer workstations, ample study tables and a coffee shop. Students can challenge a friend on a pool table or just watch television. The second floor is used for lectures and other social events. Many clubs and organizations request the second floor for meetings and activities. On the third floor, students can study and do homework in private stations. On the fourth floor, students can rest on a SCAD-designed bench while watching movies on flat-screen televisions, or curl up for a power nap in one of the Napping Pods. The Student Center also has wireless Internet access throughout the building.
Coffee shop
Located on the first floor of the Student Center, the coffee shop serves freshly made Starbucks coffee. Come in and have the barista fix you a latte, cappuccino, mocha or other tasty drink. The shop also has Odwalla fruit smoothies, fresh salads, soft drinks, juices, bottled water, muffins and more. Purchases can be made by using meal plans, dining dollars, cash or your
SCAD Card. The shop does accept debit and credit cards.
