Educators

At SCAD, we realize the importance of building relationships with teachers and counselors. Not only do we offer resources that will assist you in helping your students succeed, but we also provide opportunities—including scholarships, distance learning and summer programs—for you to further your own education.

We recognize that you play an important role in preparing students for their academic future and counseling them to choose the right university. At SCAD, your students will experience learning as part of an expansive community of artists and designers, guided by faculty who are professionals in their fields prepare them for successful creative careers.

SCAD offers a special scholarship opportunity for educators: If you are employed full-time when you apply to SCAD and teach at the kindergarten through university level at a public or private institution recognized by your state's Department of Education, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship for half the amount of SCAD's tuition.

To be eligible, you must apply and be accepted to SCAD and provide proof of employment and good standing from your school administrator or human resources department. The scholarship is renewable, provided that the recipient remains a full-time, degree-seeking student in the chosen program and maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
