In Atlanta, Ga., SCAD is located in the center of a fast-paced, major metropolitan marketplace, with more than 100 art galleries and 1,000 international businesses.

The vibrant and expanding SCAD facilities foster collaboration and innovation. Near the Woodruff Arts Center and High Museum of Art, 1600 Peachtree is a 312,000-square-foot art and design center complete with classrooms, galleries, computer labs, library, dining hall, student lounge and fitness center.


Additional SCAD facilities include residence halls, a swimming pool, an acclaimed sculpture studio, the historic Ivy Hall writing center, and a new 60,000-square-foot digital media center for majors such as animation, visual effects and television producing.

SCAD Atlanta is located in midtown Atlanta, which offers a diverse music scene and numerous theaters, galleries and museums.

Spring House is in the heart of midtown Atlanta. Students can walk to SCAD Atlanta, Atlantic Station and other nearby venues.

Located on the first floor of SCAD Atlanta, the Welcome Center is the ideal location for students to begin their exploration.

SCAD's Digital Media Center offers students in the School of Film, Digital Media and Performing Arts a real-world studio.
