SCAD Summer Seminars

SCAD Summer Seminars

SCAD Summer Seminars offer week-long workshops for high school students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior years. Students have the opportunity to gain a valuable educational experience while developing their creative vision through exciting art and design assignments and projects. Participants may attend only one session per location (Atlanta or Savannah).

Students attend two workshops each day, taught by SCAD professors or select SCAD graduate students. Workshops allow students access to the university's extensive facilities, resources and libraries. A closing exhibition of student work is held at the end of each session. Additionally, students may choose to live in a university residence hall to fully experience SCAD student life, or to participate as a nonresidential student with his or her own accommodations.
