Gyun Hur helps celebrate Studio Glass Movement

SCAD alumna Gyun Hur (M.F.A., sculpture, 2009) worked with the Corning Museum of Glass and the High Museum of Art in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Studio Glass Movement. She also is participating in the Art on the Atlanta BeltLine project. Hur is teaching part-time at the University of Georgia, Lamar Dodd School of Art, and will be teaching one semester in Cortona, Italy, with the University of Georgia. With a Full Fellowship, she will attend the Vermont Studio Center in May for the second time since 2008. In Spring 2013 she will collaborate with gloATL (choreographer Lauri Stallings), Sonic Generator, and The Atlanta Opera to produce eight world premier performances in March 2013.
