SCAD Atlanta 2024 Excelsus Laureate Katie Owens

Katie Owens (M.F.A., animation, 2024) came to SCAD to pursue her passion for 3D animation and visual effects — though perhaps the most important lesson SCAD has taught her is resilience. Through her tireless and enthusiastic involvement as the 3D modeling and lighting lead for multiple student projects, she found her passion in building 3D environments.
