SCAD TVfest honoree and ‘Shogun’ actor Hiroyuki Sanada

‘Shogun’ actor Hiroyuki Sanada accepts his Lifetime Achievement Award at SCAD TVfest 2025. Prior to his SCAD TVfest appearance, Sanada became the first Japanese actor to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama, earning the honor for his role as Lord Yoshii Toranaga in the hit FX and Hulu series. Previous SCAD TVfest Lifetime Achievement Award recipients include George Lopez (‘George Lopez,’ ‘Lopez vs Lopez’) and Laurence Fishburne (‘Black-ish,’ ‘CSI’).
