SCAD Film Studios in Savannah

At Savannah’s SCAD Film Studios, students collaborate across creative disciplines on the largest and most comprehensive university backlot in the nation. SCAD Film Studios features a 16-acre backlot, an LED volume stage, the only purpose-built soundstages in Savannah, a green screen studio, and production and fabrication spaces. The backlot currently consists of over 50 separate street façades and more than 23,000 square feet of interior dressed set space modeling Savannah’s iconic historic district, big city streetscapes that include a subway entrance and brownstones, and small-town USA scenes reflecting a variety of eras.
