Find the courage to be a hero at 'The Secret of NIMH' Trustees Theater screening
Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Don Bluth Collection at SCAD with a special screening of his acclaimed directorial debut The Secret of NIMH, based Robert C. O’Brien’s award-winning children’s novel. This expertly crafted animated classic follows Mrs. Brisby, a devoted mother mouse who must find a way to save her family and their home from Farmer Fitzgibbons' plow. Along the way, she encounters a colorful array of critters, including a clumsy crow, a wise owl, and a mysterious group of highly intelligent rats who may hold the key to their survival.
The screening will include a Q&A with longtime Bluth collaborator, animator, and producer John Pomeroy. Tickets for the film, part of the SCAD Cinema Circle series, are free for SCAD Card holders; $5 for students, seniors, and military; and $8 for the general public.
