Hear how the AIGA is making the design industry more inclusive on new 'CATALYST' series
Join SCAD alumnus George Garrastegui (M.F.A., graphic design, 2013), the program lead of AIGA’s diversity and inclusion initiative and senior advisor for the men of color network 100 Roses from Concrete, for this episode of the new SCAD series CATALYST. Garrastegui will show how he’s working with the AIGA to re-examine the lack of diversity in the design industry and discuss the role of the designer in this new era and what you can do to build empathy and awareness. At the end of the conversation, students can ask questions about the advertising and design industries and share resources.
