Visit the home for distinguished visiting scholars-in-residence, acclaimed lectures and literary salons at SCAD Atlanta on a special tour of historic Ivy Hall.
Formerly the Edward C. Peters House, Ivy Hall was built in 1883 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. SCAD extensively renovated the historic home before its reopening as an arts and writing hub in 2008.
The building is also host to the acclaimed Ivy Hall Writers Series, where visiting authors share writing insights and discuss their work. Guests have included Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Alfred Uhry, media mogul Arianna Huffington and novelist Margaret Atwood.
