Discover the home for distinguished visiting scholars-in-residence, acclaimed lectures and literary salons on a special tour of historic Ivy Hall.
Formerly the Edward C. Peters House, Ivy Hall was built in 1883 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. SCAD extensively renovated the historic home before its reopening as an arts and writing hub in 2008.
The building is also host to the acclaimed Ivy Hall Writers Series, where visiting authors share writing insights and discuss their work. Recent guests include media mogul Arianna Huffington, journalist Virginia Heffernan and author Melissa Fay Greene.
