SCAD presents "Curating Worlds," a lecture by writer, art critic and the executive director/curator of Para Site, Cosmin Costinas. This talk explores Costinas' experience curating exhibitions and working with artists around the world.

Costinas served as curator for BAK, basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht, Netherlands, from 2008 to 2011 and co-curated the 1st Ural Industrial Biennial, Ekaterinburg, Russia, in 2010. He is a contributing author and writer for numerous magazines, books, and exhibition catalogs worldwide.

This lecture is free and open to the public.

This event is part of deFINE ART 2017, held Feb. 21–24 at SCAD locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, and Hong Kong. DeFINE ART is an annual program of exhibitions, lectures, performances and public events that highlights emerging and established artists and visionaries.
