Formerly the Peters House, the Queen Anne-Victorian-style Ivy Hall was designed by noted architect Gottfried L. Norman in 1883. Recent visitors include media mogul Arianna Huffington, novelists Celeste Ng and Daniel José Older and Vice editor-in-chief Ellis Jones.
The SCAD writing program prepares students to step into a wide variety of roles in the professional sphere, from copywriting to social media communications and more. Students finish their degrees with publication credits in their portfolios and go on to thriving creative careers.
