Gallery talk: Nancy North recollects the Battle of Versailles fashion show
601 Turner Blvd.
Join us for a gallery talk with model Nancy North as she discusses the exhibition, "Grand Divertissement à Versailles: Vintage Photographs by Bill Cunningham," currently on loan to the SCAD Museum of Art from her private collection. As a model in the 1973 fashion show known as the Battle of Versailles, North has first-hand experience of the historic day depicted in the exhibition’s photographs. She will share personal stories, as well as her vast knowledge of the fashion industry, designers and artists in conversation with Alexandra Sachs, executive director of SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film and Atlanta exhibitions.
