Explore SCAD Atlanta’s cultural hub during tour of historic Ivy Hall
1600 Peachtree St.
Discover the home for distinguished visiting scholars-in-residence, acclaimed lectures and literary salons on a special tour of historic Ivy Hall.
Formerly the Peters House, SCAD extensively rehabilitated the historic home to function as the center for writing and cultural arts. Ivy Hall is SCAD Atlanta’s cultural hub, home to events like the Ivy Hall Writers Series, where celebrated authors hold readings of their new works.
Built in 1883, Ivy Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The award-winning restoration of the building before its reopening in 2008 was documented in a five-part series aired by Public Broadcasting Atlanta.
The event is free and open to prospective students. For more information or to register, call 404.253.2700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
