Tour SCAD Atlanta’s historic Ivy Hall, home to lectures, salons and the Ivy Hall Writers Series.
Built in 1883, Ivy Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. SCAD undertook extensive renovations of the building before its reopening in Fall 2008. Today, this magnificent example of Queen Anne-Victorian-style architecture hosts visiting scholars-in-residence, literary events and the university’s writing program. Recent visitors include media mogul Arianna Huffington, novelists Celeste Ng and Daniel José Older, and Vice editor-in-chief Ellis Jones.
