SCAD Hong Kong

Hong Kong,

292 Tai Po Road

Join English professor Katarzyna Wasylak for a trip to Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, one of Hong Kong’s most popular attractions.

Gain an in-depth look at Buddhism as you learn about traditional fortune-telling methods, key concepts of Buddhist philosophy, iconography and more. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the monastery’s history and its founder, Reverend Yuet Kai, whose preserved body sits in front of the main altar.

This excursion is free and open to SCAD students; space is limited and registration is required. RSVP in Room 113.

Meet professor Wasylak at Sha Tin MTR Station in front of Exit B.
