Experience a taste of Hong Kong culture at local landmarks
292 Tai Po Road
Venture out with residence life and housing to Ching Chung Koon, a Taoist temple first opened as a rural retreat in 1961. Prized relics such as lanterns from the Beijing Imperial Palace, along with Chinese gardens, fish ponds and more make this temple a popular scenic stop.
You’ll also have the chance to visit the Tuen Mun Town Centre, where you can enjoy the shopping center, cinema and restaurants in one of Hong Kong’s fastest-growing and most vibrant districts.
The excursion departs from Gold Coast Residences, in front of Tower 8.
This event is free and open to SCAD students. Drop by SCAD Hong Kong, Room 113 to sign up.
