Eric Villency is an award-winning designer and CEO of Villency Design Group.
Known for designing the SoulCycle bike along with fitness equipment for Barry’s Bootcamp, Equinox and Peloton, Villency was recently named by Inc. magazine as a “Creative Designer to Watch” and dubbed “the wizard of wellness design” by Well+Good. His unique multidisciplinary approach to design has produced a prolific body of work that includes sports stadiums, airport terminals, hotels, hospitals, large-scale art installations, fitness equipment, performance apparel, fashion, automotive design, furniture, consumer electronics and product design.
Villency appears frequently as a design expert on national television in addition to authoring numerous articles on the subject. He has lectured at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the MIT Sloan School of Management and been honored for his achievements in design with awards from FIT and the International Furnishings and Design Association.
Villency lives in New York, New York and graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
