Why SCAD?

SCAD is the University for Creative Careers.™

At SCAD, you can choose from 46 majors and more than 50 minors—more degree programs and specializations than any other art and design university in the United States.
You can take courses at SCAD in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga.; our study-abroad location in Lacoste, France; and online via eLearning. We're also developing an innovative location in Hong Kong.
With an average class size of 16 students, SCAD enables you to receive personal attention from professors who are experts in their fields.
As part of our diverse student body, you'll join more than 9,500 students from all 50 states and nearly 100 countries.

Many SCAD classes work with corporate partners on "real-world" projects. As a student, you may create or contribute to products that will retail nationally and internationally.

You'll work in classrooms, labs and studios that feature state-of-the-art technology, equipment and software that meet, and sometimes exceed, industry standards.
