Design Group receives top honors for museum

The SCAD Design Group has been given top honors by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Georgia chapter for the interior design of the newly expanded SCAD Museum of Art. SCAD won the Best of the Best (b.o.b) Forum Design Award over all other entries and categories, as well as the Best of the Best Forum Award in the education category.
Preservation features SCAD Museum, Sottile

Preservation, the publication of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, has published a Web feature about the SCAD Museum of Art, interviewing architect and Dean of the SCAD School of Building Arts Christian Sottile.
Crawford receives landscape architect award

Seth Crawford (M.U.D., urban design, 2011) won a design award from the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for a project completed in Urban Design Studio II. He received the award in a ceremony at the ASLA Tri-State Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia.
