It also includes full-text reviews from 11 sources. BuildingGreen Suite A key resource for sustainable design. Topics include environmental performance and the adverse impacts of buildings. Contains articles, reviews, and news from Environmental Building News (EBN), product listings from the GreenSpec products directory, and project case studies from the High-Performance Buildings Database. Business & Industry Contains important facts and key events dealing with public and private companies, industries, products and markets for all manufacturing service industries at an international level. Disclosure Corporate Snapshots Contains information about more that 12,000 publicly owned companies filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Dissertations Abstracts Online Selectively covers master's theses and dissertations from Canada, Great Britain and Europe. EconLit Contains citations, with abstracts, to articles from more than 400 economics journals. Encyclopedia Britannica Online EB Online includes the complete encyclopedia as well as the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary and an Internet directory of links to Web sites selected and evaluated by Britannica editors. This database covers all aspects of education and educational research, includes both abstracts of published and unpublished sources on thousands of educational topics. FactSearch Corresponds to the printed publication A Matter of Fact. It has facts and statistics about current social, economic, environmental, and political issues. Film and Television Index (from EBSCOhost) Comprehensive bibliographic and full-text database covering the entire spectrum of television and film. Subjects includes film and television theory, preservation and restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews. The database provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 270 publications, including some fulltext articles. GEOBASE Has citations with abstracts covering worldwide literature on geography, geology, ecology, international development and their related disciplines. Grove Dictionary of Art Provides online access to the entire text of the 34-volume Dictionary of Art plus newly commissioned articles. The database includes articles on every aspect of the visual arts from prehistory through the present and offers access to more than 130,000 searchable images. For information on searching this database, click here. JSTOR A fully searchable electronic database containing full-text articles from scholarly journals in a variety of academic disciplines. JSTOR is an archive containing the complete back runs of journals. The researcher is able to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed and illustrated. LexisNexis Academic The Web site contains approximately 5,000 publications, most are full text. The types of publications include, newspapers (in English, other languages and translations of international papers), legal news, general interest magazines, medical journals, trade publications, company financial information, transcripts, wire service reports, government publications, law reviews and reference works. Project Muse Provides access to nearly 250 full text digitized journals from 40 scholarly publishers in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics and others. Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection (from EBSCOhost) Provides access to 575 full text publications, most titles are peer-reviewed journals. The database covers topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry and psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.
