SCAD wins big at Disney Imagineering competition

SCAD is the first university to capture the top two positions at Walt Disney Imagineering’s Imaginations Design Competition. This unprecedented honor underscores the SCAD commitment to design innovation, problem-solving and career preparation.

The SCAD graduate team took first place for "Caguaya," a plan to revitalize a real sunken pirate city in Jamaica.

The SCAD undergraduate team took second place for "Spaceport Hashima," a destination resort off the coast of Japan.
