Sara Moonves is a contributing fashion editor at Vogue. In this role, she works with esteemed editorial photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Mikael Jansson and Bruce Weber.
She began her career at Vogue, working under Sally Singer, the then-fashion news and features editor at the magazine, and later working under Phyllis Posnick, Vogue’s executive fashion editor.
In 2010, Moonves was named senior fashion editor at T: The New York Times Style Magazine, under Singer, the newly appointed editor-in-chief at T. During Moonves’ tenure at T, she worked with prominent photographers Hedi Slimane, Ryan McGinley, Cass Bird and Angelo Pennetta, among others.
A freelance journalist and editor, Moonves most recently collaborated with Weber for the campaign launching Shinola Detroit in 2013.
Moonves is a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she studied journalism. A native of Los Angeles, California, Moonves lives and works in New York City.
