This year, the SCAD Challenge film competition called for entries demonstrating originality, a unique viewpoint and a flair for storytelling. The competition received entries that spanned a range of film genres: action sequences, absurdist comedies, music videos and documentaries, just to name a few. From this diverse array of entries, the SCAD Challenge mentors selected finalists that best exhibited a creative and skillful approach to filmmaking. A panel of faculty judges reviewed the finalists' work and chose the three student filmmakers who showed the greatest potential for success as both SCAD students and creative professionals. These three winners will be awarded scholarships to attend SCAD.
