Artist statement:
"To illustrate fashion is to create a fictitious, idealistic world-a utopia that invites all. To unhinge a beauty that has yet to blossom fully, that is what fashion illustration means to me. Art has been a part of my life since day one, but it was finding the puzzle piece fit for my passion that did not unfold until college. While I still enjoy painting, sewing, and other aspects of the art world, fashion illustration is my one true love. Teaching fashion illustration only enhances my love for fashion illustration as well as inspires me further. I am often surprised at how much my students inspire my own artwork on a regular basis."
