DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - With the recent additions of schools from South Carolina and Georgia, Commissioner Rob Miller announced today the Florida Sun Conference will be changing their name to The Sun Conference, effective immediately.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Former Savannah College of Art and Design pitcher Richard Sullivan will start on the mound for the Rome Braves Friday (Aug. 22) night at Historic Grayson Stadium. Selected by the Braves in the 11th round of the 2008 draft, Sullivan is the second SCAD baseball player ever selected in the Major League Baseball draft.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Savannah College of Art and Design men's and women's cross country coach Michael Sergi will be holding open tryouts Sept. 15.
