Nine-month Continuous Housing 
Boundary Village- Students who choose this option have the flexibility to live in their residence hall rooms for nine continuous months (excluding summer). This option is available only in a limited portion of the building and is ideal for students who require on-campus housing during the winter break. The cost for this option is $8,589. Dining halls are not open during the winter break. The nine-month continuous housing option is not transferable to other students. This option must be selected as a condition to live in a designated area of the building; students may not choose this option after assignments have been made. Students requesting this option should e-mail Residence Life.
First-year Experience- First-year Experience is a required, non-credit extended orientation course for first-year incoming undergraduate students that assists them in developing academic skills and identifying and efficiently using college resources. On-campus freshmen are registered for an FYE section and a foundation studies course according to their residence hall assignment. The course provides a discussion-based environment in which students are introduced to college requirements, their responsibility in the learning process, and skills that may enable them to become successful students. In addition, the course addresses topics including life skills, academic advisement, career planning and leadership.
Safety and Security Parking Transportation Mail Services Upon assignment to a residence hall, each student receives an individual postal box for general mail. Mailbox keys and box assignments are distributed during orientation at a specified location. For more information about mailbox assignments or key distribution, call Turner Express at 912.525.8406. Students may receive packages or overnight deliveries at the Weston Package Center, located at Weston Residence Hall, 231 W. Boundary St., Savannah, GA 31401. Students are notified electronically at their SCAD student e-mail address when packages arrive. Hours for pickup are posted each quarter. The general number is 912.525.7296.
