SCAD, Savannah, Famous photographyer, Spencer Tunick, speaks at SCAD-SavannahThe Savannah College of Art and Design sponsors lectures and workshops with working artists, designers, writers, architects, preservationists, historians, performers and other professionals. Some visitors provide critiques of student work.

The Distinguished Visiting Faculty Program gives students the chance to study under the tutelage of renowned visiting professors. These artists join the SCAD faculty for one quarter to teach specialized courses and critique student work. The courses are open to all graduate students and are available to undergraduate students upon faculty adviser or department chair approval.
