Courses

FILM 450 Film Off-campus: L.A.

With a faculty member of the Film and Television Department, the student will travel to Los Angeles and meet with a variety of industry professionals. Before the trip, the student will write a resume, create a business card, and develop a portfolio that highlights his/her strengths as a filmmaker. Upon the student's return, he/she will formulate a specific follow-up strategy with the industry contacts that is designed to maximize his/her relationships with them and facilitate the student's entry into the job market.
