Fashion students earn emerging talent honors

Recognition

Coniglio and Lilly launch their own label
Christina Coniglio (B.F.A., fashion, 2010) and Ariel Lilly (B.F.A., fashion, 2009) have launched their own label, Rae Francis. You may meet them at a special trunk show hosted by Kathi Rich, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2515 Abercorn St., Savannah, Georgia.
Absher was named Liz Claiborne Design Scholar
B.F.A. fashion student Katherine Absher was named the 2013 Liz Claiborne Design Scholar by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The prestigious $25,000 award is presented each year to the student who best addresses through fashion the lifestyle and needs of women, as judged by a panel of fashion industry experts.
Catherine Lyndsey Lewis works at Spanx
Catherine Lyndsey Lewis (B.F.A., fashion, 2005) worked for Nike as a color adviser. She has now moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, and works as a color manager at Spanx.
Urban Outfitters hires Paige Joost
Paige Joost (B.F.A., fashion, 2012) was hired as an assistant designer for Kimchi Blue at Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
